A 16 week course of learning that takes horse owners from uncertain and anxious –to confidently knowing what and how to successfully prepare a wild mustang or any breed for successful first rides by using proven, easy to follow methods.

Stage 1: Deep Dive Ground Work
Get ready to embark on an journey where we'll delve deep into the core of our groundwork, identifying any gaps and filling them in to ensure your first ride is a breeze, uneventful, and stress-free. Each exercise is meticulously designed to build upon the previous one, ticking off all the necessary prerequisites to fully equip both you and your horse for the forthcoming steps. You'll be brimming with confidence, armed with the knowledge of exactly what to do, what to watch out for, and everything else needed to make each milestone a seamless, smooth, and enjoyable experience. We'll also venture further into the realm of Positive Reinforcement training as an added bonus. Setting the stage for successful application under the saddle.
Stage 2: Final Saddle & First Ride Prepping
Get ready to tick a few more essential boxes! In this stage, we're going to saddle up and ensure your horse understands what's expected. From long-lining to getting those first sits. We'll guide your horse through all the cues and tack they need to know for a clear understanding when riding. It's a team effort between you and your horse from mastering those initial sits, getting the hang of the bit, and achieving a state of true relaxation for a safe and enjoyable first ride. If you have done your homework this stage will be a breeze and build confidence in both you and your horse.
Stage 3: Final Round Pen Work & First Rides In The Round Pen
Hooray! We've arrived at the thrilling moment of that real first ride. We'll equip you with all the knowledge you need to make this a joyful, smooth, and rewarding experience for both you and your horse. Next, we'll dive into mastering body control under the saddle, achieving a state of relaxation at all three gaits, and ensuring you've got a solid 'whoa' for safety. We're committed to ensuring both you and your horse are well-prepared to step out of the round pen and into the great wide open. Each stage is broken down into easy-to-follow steps, so you can feel confident that your horse is ready.
Stage 4: Arena First Rides to First Trail Ride!
And now, for the grand finale! We're about to reveal all our secret tricks to ensure your horse is safe, well-prepared, and ready to tackle the big arena. We've got a treasure trove of easy, enjoyable exercises to help your horse master body control, manage their magnets, focus on you, and enjoy their work. No arena sour horses on our watch! We'll guide you on how to prevent that and teach your horse to self-regulate, so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride. Lastly, we'll tick off all the boxes to ensure your horse is ready for that first thrilling trail ride! You'll feel an incredible sense of empowerment knowing that YOU trained your horse yourself and are equipped with the tools to overcome any hurdles you may encounter. Mustang Mare Started Using The Mustang Ride Blueprint
This is a 4yo mustang mare with only six months of full time training showing at the Kentucky Horsepark at the Mustang Classic in 2024. She has severe fear of being alone, is very "hot" and has buddy sour tendencies. She can also be very spooky. This was her first time ever doing a Working Equitation Course. Yet here she is confident, listening, trusting, relaxed and enjoying her work.

We Are Isidro & Amber Espinoza
We make up Isidro Espinoza Horsemanship and we crafted a blueprint for passionate wild mustang owners to take them from lost, confused, stressed and struggling –to confident, empowered, excited and successful!
This course is a culmination of our life’s work and passion for helping horses & their people.
We both come from a lifetime of working with and training horses. We met in 2005 at one of the largest breeding horse farms in North America. Horses brought us together and we were set on a trajectory to have them infiltrate every part of our lives and beings.
As we started our family we trained our first wild horses in California and fell in love with them. They were unlike any horses we had ever worked with before. This fueled us to become passionate about helping them in any way we could. This led us to helping many "problem" horses of all breeds from the many lessons mustangs taught us.
We participated in every mustang competition and program we could find. To learn more about them, bring awareness to them and help others.
But we noticed a huge persistent problem.
People would get stuck and need help but the help wasn’t out there or it was too expensive or too far away for most horse owners to obtain.
We already made all the mistakes training hundreds of mustangs and problem horses in the past 15 years. We have honed our skills to be efficient and effective. We have assessed thousands of mustangs from all over the country and started hundreds of horses under saddle. We have really narrowed down what works well for the majority of them and how to do simple changes based on each unique personality to achieve success.
Now, I know precisely how to help other passionate horse owners to develop and achieve the partnership they have always dreamed of.
And we want to help as many horses get into and stay in permanent homes as possible. Educating and supporting those amazing homes is the best way to do just that.
