About Us
Hi! We are a husband and wife team working together to help as many people and their equines as we can.

ISIDRO ESPINOZA
Isidro grew up in Durango, Mexico on a large ranch. He spent his days farming, training mules, donkeys and horses and raising cattle and goats. As a young man he came to the US and worked for many years at a large breeding farm in Maryland called Winbak Farm. He delivered hundreds of foals a season and broke yearlings and showed them in sales. He became known as the go to guy for all the most difficult horses. Isidro moved to California and opened Isidro Espinoza Horsemanship LLC with his wife Amber and became a TIP trainer and competes in Extreme Mustang Makeovers and Endurance races. Isidro is also a very accomplished farrier. Isidro has multiple top ten finishes in both the Extreme Mustang Makeovers and AERC Endurance rides with Best Conditioned wins. He was the 2021 Kentucky Extreme Mustang Makeover Reserve Champion with one of the highest selling mustangs of all time. He also competed in the invitation only 2022 Rising Stars Mustang Magic at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. He will be a clinician and presenter at Equine Affaire in MA this November 2025. Isidro enjoys sharing his calm, firm and compassionate approach to horse training that has been passed down in his family from generations of horsemen.

AMBER LYNNE ESPINOZA
Amber was blessed to grow up with horses. She preferred to ride her pony bareback everywhere than be bothered with a saddle. At age 8 she began to dabble in local western shows and gymkhanas. After watching the 1992 Olympics she became passionate about jumping and worked hard to learn everything she could and showed all over Southern California in hunter and jumper competitions. She developed a lovely group of students and horses that showed well in Southern California on the Hunter/Jumper circuit. Amber then moved to Maryland and worked at Winbak Farm where she met Isidro. In 2006 she moved back to California to go to nursing school and decided to fulfill a dream and adopt and train a wild mustang. This experience changed her life and she fell in love with the American Mustang. Amber has a long competition career in a variety of disciplines with wins and championships in hunters, jumpers, western dressage, obstacle challenges, and all around shows. In 2016 she began competing in Extreme Mustang Makeovers and one of her makeover horses became the first BLM mustang in Finland! Amber was the 2020 California Extreme Mustang Makeover Horsemanship Champion and Freestyle Reserve Champion. She was also Top Ten at the 2021 Extreme Mustang Race in Glen Rose, TX, after winning a regional Green Horse Championship in Extreme Cowboy Racing. Finished Top Ten at the 2023 Mustang Magic in Fort Worth, TX. Placed Third overall at the 2024 TN Extreme Mustang Makeover and won Fan Favorite. Placed 4th in Ranch Riding out of 60+ competitors at the first ever Mustang Challenge at South Point in Las Vegas, NV. Placed second in Working Equitation at the first ever Mustang Classic at the Kentucky Horsepark and won Grand Champion Adult In-Hand at the 2025 Extreme Mustang Makeover in Lexington, Kentucky. Amber's current passion is continuing to develop her education to help horses emotionally, mentally and physically enjoy their domestic lives.
